Women Entrepreneurs of the Humboldt route

LOCATION: Toctiuco, Quito, Ecuador

Group of women organized and located in the area of ​​the historic center of Quito, belonging to the Cabildo de Toctiuco- El Pinar sector. They are guardians of the slopes of Pichincha, together with the community made up of migrants from the province, which makes the group full of traditions, ancestral wealth and gastronomy with the products of the mountains.

Alternative Education Project of the San Francisco de Miravalle community intends to offer the opportunity to low-income communities to receive alternative, complementary and free classes; improve the school and social integration of children; promote educational innovation and school improvement.

The project aims to contribute to the generation of added value in the plastic recycling process and improve the quality of work of the population that lives from recycling.

AWASHAMÚ

LOCATION: Pichincha - Machala 

The Awashamú project, which means “Weaving the future”, made an effort to respond to two problems: the lack of economic opportunities for survivors of gender violence and the ecological risk of plastic bags (especially in mangroves and streams in Ecuador).

ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION MIRAVALLE

LOCATION: San Francisco de Miravalle, Quito, Ecuador

The project includes the recovery, rehabilitation and environmental maintenance plan of the San Francisco de Miravalle community and its streams. An environmental health analysis and a population health census are carried out to diagnose the community.
